Our New Baby!!!

pregnant couple

Before I begin, I would like to let you know that I did not give birth to a new baby nor am I pregnant. But…

We have been blessed to have six natural child births for our six beautiful children. And, a few weeks ago, I was blessed to be able to speak to couples in a Bradley Method Class, which is a husband-coached natural childbirth class. It was such a wonderful experience to be there to talk to these beautiful couples radiating with anticipation for the birth of their first baby. I was reminiscing about the days my husband and I were in their shoes 12 years ago! Oh, it felt so good to be there with them.

I talked to them about health and wellness with essential oils and how to use essential oils safely and effectively for a comfortable, relaxing, natural childbirth experience. We diffused, we passed around essential oils, drank some coconut water (great for hydration and replenishment) and they left with little goodie bags that included a sample of my wonderful Relaxing Mama Massage Oil recipe and chocolate, of course! (By the way, my relaxing mama massage oil is my favorite massage oil whether I am pregnant or not!)

Labor and Delivery collage

So, as a way to support this Bradley class group and many others who are seeking natural childbirth methods, I developed an expanding PREGNANCY section that includes some DIY recipes, oils for Labor and Delivery, Cheat sheets for labor and delivery, and more… Stop by and check out my new BABY! Pass this along to friends who are expecting!

Tell Me What You Think.

What are your thoughts on the new section? Do you have any feedback or ideas for expanding this new section based on your research and experience? Thanks for sharing!

Blessings,

J.O.Y.Full Mom

    1. Thank you so much!!! What a beautiful comment! I had a natural child birth with all six of mine BUT I didn’t discover essential oils until I was in my third trimester with my sixth! OH do I WISH I had know about them sooner. Which is why I put this section together. I hope that moms out there will be able to enjoy a more comfortable pregnancy and delivery using the right oils at the right time. My family enjoys them and really sees the difference when we don’t use them. LOVE LOVE LOVE them! Thanks or your feedback. How are things on your end? Blessings 🙂

      1. Oh, how I admire YOU! Wow. 6 natural child births! One of my best friends has 6 kids, and 5 were natural. The sixth would have been, but it was an emergency C-section, and I don’t know of a place where they’d let anyone do that naturally LOL. Things on my end are actually calm–for the moment! Mini Me is getting ready to leave for Belmont University in Nashville, and it is becoming very apparent to all of us that it is time😂 I am going to be a teacher’s assistant at The Baby’s school! This should be interesting! I hate that school is getting ready to start in 2 short weeks…but we have had a great summer. Thank you for asking❤️

        1. Childbirth can be tricky! You can make a plan but you have to be prepared in case of an emergency. I always have to keep that in the back of my mind especially when I am pregnant. Life is not certain and I have learned that I can’t control everything even though I think I can. I don’t know how I would keep my sanity if I didn’t believe that God is in control. C-sections are tough regardless. But the JOY is the miracle of life whether it is natural birth or emergency C-section. I’m happy to hear things are well with you. I read your post about Mini Me leaving for school. I know that has to be tough. A bittersweet experience, if you will. Happy for the independence but sad to see them move out into the world. Enjoy these next couple weeks. Savor every moment as you did all the years you had together. I hope your new job works well. I’ll be keeping an eye out to hear about how that experience goes! Blessings to you my friend.

          1. You are so right. God is in control. I had two normal births and then the last was an emergency c-section and I lost 2 liters of blood and the on call doc chose not to give me a transfusion, which infuriated my doc, who came back from maternity leave the day before I went home-after 5 days in the hospital. I was somewhat psychotic for about 6 months😂 It was not funny then, but 8.5 years later, I’m able to laugh about it…a little. Thank you so much for your kind words. It shall be bittersweet, and we shall survive Mini Me leaving us. He gets angry at me and threatens to never come home again-about every other day. 😂 I remind him who is paying his bills, and he softens and goes to his room like a dog with his tail between his legs…it can be quite hilarious at times when he is not breaking my heart💔 Blessings to you too!!! So many exciting things happening!!!

          2. WOW! What a birth experience! I am intrigued by how different every person’s birth experience is especially with multiple births. I’m glad you are okay. Keep being a strong mama! You are doing a good job. Blessings.
