Growing up my parents always emphasized the importance of family. Even though all of us are spread across the country, we stick by each other, encourage each other, and support each other. If someone is in need, we come together to make it work. When there is a celebration, we all try to be there together.

In our home we make family time a priority. Life is so busy, so we try to do as much as we can together. We believe the quality time we spend with our children is priceless. A family that spends time together grows stronger.  A family that grows together is less likely to fall apart. When things get rough, we know we can depend on each other.

It is my desire to encourage families to spend quality time together. No family is perfect. But if we make the effort, we can make a difference one family at a time. Make a commitment today to set aside time each day or week to enjoy special time together as a family.
