Mexican is a favorite at our house. Taco seasoning goes fast. We use it in soups, meats, sauces, and many Mexican and non-Mexican based dishes. This one beats any that I have tried that are prepackaged. And it has no preservatives which is a plus in my book. You can add more red pepper flakes if you like it spicy! Be creative and tweek it to your liking. enJOY!

Tasty Taco Seasoning

  • Servings: about 1 1/2 cup
  • Difficulty: Easy

Ingredients:

    • 8 Tbsp chili powder
    • 6 tsp garlic powder
    • 2 tsp onion powder
    • 2 tsp red pepper flakes
    • 2 tsp oregano
    • 4 tsp paprika
    • 4 Tbsp ground cumin
    • 3 Tbsp + 1 tsp salt
    • 3 Tbsp + 1 tsp  ground black pepper
    • 2 tsp non-GMO cornstarch

Steps:

  1. Add all ingredients into a bowl.
  2. Stir with a whisk until completely combined.
  3. Store in an airtight container.

T-Tip: Use this seasoning in my Party Hearty Taco Meat recipe.

T-Tip: Store this in a shake plus scoop container so you can shake it on eggs, pizza, chicken, and other quick dishes!
