Adobo Seasoning

Growing up in Miami gave me the opportunity to explore flavors and dishes from various cultures. In the small “mom and pop” markets you would find the authentic spices used in that culture. One of the spices we used a lot was Adobo seasoning with a Spanish flair (which can be found in many markets nowadays). Since many blends have added ingredients, I like to make my own whenever possible. So this is my version of our old favorite Adobo seasoning.enJOY!

Adobo Seasoning

  • Servings: about 1/4 cup
  • Difficulty: Easy
  • Print

    • 5 tsp salt
    • 4 tsp garlic
    • 1 tsp tumeric
    • 1 tsp cumin
    • 1 tsp black pepper

  1. Add all ingredients into a bowl.
  2. Stir with a whisk until completely combined.
  3. Store in an airtight container.

I like to store this in the Pioneer Woman All Purpose Storage Glass Jars. They are cute and have chalkboard labels.
