This week is BIRTHDAY WEEK at our house! We set aside a whole week of good eats to celebrate birthdays (although lately, we run more like two weeks by the time we get to finish it all!) This week, we are celebrating the birth of our third blessing.
Oh…I remember that pregnancy like yesterday. I was sick for 34 weeks, I had a 2-week break, and then sick again until birth! I had some unusual medical issues happen to me when I was pregnant with him which had the doctors baffled. AND, I barely made it to the hospital in time after 46 hours of labor.
I remember my dad saying “With all you have going on with this pregnancy, this will be one blessed child.” And sure enough, he is. He is my amazing, happy go-lucky, smiley, handsome boy who loves to make people laugh. He may be 9-years old, but when I took him on a mommy date yesterday and I asked him what I could do to be a better mom to him, he said “Snuggle me every morning after breakfast.” He is my 24-7 snuggle bug. I have to take it while I can…
Happy Birthday, Son! I am so grateful to God for blessing me with you in my life. I love you!
