Uncovering the Joys of Homeschooling a Large Family

First, I would like to welcome my new followers. Thank you for your support.  I am happy you decided to stick around. Please visit me often and share your experiences with me.

crayon heartI would also like to share a BIG heartfelt “THANK YOU” from the depths of my heart to all my followers who have visited and shared conversations, likes, and visits. I have enjoyed exchanging ideas and inspirations with you. It is a blessing to have you walking alongside with me on my JOYFull mission. You are wonderful and I really appreciate you…really, I do.

I can’t tell you how many times I received comments from you and they were just the perfect words I needed to hear. God is so awesome like that. I love it when God shows up.

I love visiting your sites and being inspired by your posts. You have some amazing blogs and I am deeply touched by your honesty in your struggles, triumphs, and the inspiring stories of how God moves in your life. Thank you for sharing your heart.

togetherI would like to share a few NEW homeschool posts that I have discovered that have inspired me. I hope they inspire you. EnJOY!

My Sacred Chaos – This post inspired me to take the time to learn more with my kids even though it may fry my brain! (ok…I confess I like to use the “ask your dad card”).

Whatsoever you do… – I like her review of the Picture Bible Curriculum. I rotate my Bible class curriculums so I plan to add this one to my collection.

Mini Miss Mom  – Trystan has been babysitting and running kid camps for years. She posts all kinds of fun projects and activities for kids. Grab some ideas for homeschool science projects, art projects, or something for the kids to do on a rainy day… or any day for that matter.

Still Learning Something New  with 15 years of homeschooling under her belt, Betty Joe has a wealth of information to share.

Traveling the Narrow Road – Inspiring story, large homeschooling family, great ideas.

Life as Mom Knows It – Inspiring and encouraging posts and helpful information on homemaking.

Sumshine’s Life School – Homeschooling through the eyes of a 13-year old homeschooled girl. I especially liked her post on wearing modest clothes (I’ll be sharing that with my 9 year-old daughter).

Monogrammed Mischief – I remember how hard it was my first year of homeschooling. I was inspired by Lauren’s story and her positive determination to continue the journey.

Everyday in Rain Boots – This post was timely for me when I was having “one of those homeschool days.” It made me laugh…

Blessings on your homeschool journey!

  1. Thanks for sharing these with us! I LOVE checking out new homeschool blogs and articles. I can’t wait to read these. Another blog I REALLY REALLY love that you might like as well is amongst lovely things. A couple of my favorite posts are: http://amongstlovelythings.com/early-years/ and http://amongstlovelythings.com/how-to-simplify-schedule/ and http://amongstlovelythings.com/early-years/ has a list of great first read aloud novels. Reading out loud with my kiddos is one of my favorite parts of homeschooling.
