Well, let me start by saying I am a changed woman. I never knew that a few minutes could make such a difference in my health and wellness. Before I tell you my little secret, I want to share a snip of my journey to wellness.
Diet and Exercise
I have always made it a point to do my best to eat a healthy, balanced diet and exercise up to five times a week. During my fourth and fifth pregnancy, I had gestational diabetes. After my fifth pregnancy, I started a gluten-free diet (Beyond Diet) which helped me and my family tremendously. I felt pretty good! However, I still had a weak immune system (since childhood!), I was moody, tired, and I knew I was not at my highest potential. Finally, last year when I was pregnant with my sixth child, I was on the search for improved health and wellness.
And then I discovered…
Essential oils while visiting my sister (My Testimony). I was a skeptic at first. In the past I tried essential oils that I purchased online or at the health food store. I confess that I didn’t understand how essential oils worked or how they are absorbed into the body. But when I started using 100% Therapeutic Grade Young Living Essential Oils, I got educated and I was AMAZED! I was AMAZED at how great I felt! I was AMAZED at my improved immune system (FINALLY!). Wow, what a difference! I never knew the many ways Young Living essential oils could be used to improve my health and wellness.

My husband was a skeptic at first too, but now he is reaching into the cabinets for oils. He takes them to work and packs them for business trips. My kids can testify to the power of essential oils, right down to my baby girl who was soothed from the irritation of chicken pox this week with Young Living Lavender Essential Oil. Through pregnancy, labor, postpartum, right up to today, essential oils are part of my family and our daily regimen. In just three minutes, I start my day off with a bang and get my kids feeling good.

A Few Minutes a Day?
YES! Three minutes! I am a Homeschooling Mom of 6 and I always have very eventful days! I have experienced the many benefits of using Young Living Essential Oils. In a few minutes every morning:

- I inhale EN-R-GEE essential oil blend or RC essential oil blend for
a quick, energy boost before I start my morning workout. I put a drop of oil in my hands, cup my hands over my nose and mouth and slowly inhale and exhale five times.

- I fill a glass with water and add couple drops of Lemon essential oil for my gentle morning cleanse and hydration.

- I add a drop of JOY essential oil blend to my locket diffuser necklace. Using my body heat, the locket diffuses JOY around me all day. When I need a little extra, I lift my locket to my nose and take a deep breath. Ahhhh.
- I fill my home diffuser with water and add a few drops of both Orange and  Cedarwood essential oil. I like to diffuse this mix during my homeschool day because it promotes what I call a “calming concentration.” It helps my children focus and it keeps me calm. (and I still have a 15 seconds to spare!)
We use  oils throughout our day, but at a minimum, I do my 3-minute routine. It helps to reduce stress, which does major damage to our bodies. I also have some midday favorites, and a wonderful nighttime essential oil routine for me and my family. Stay tuned for more from my 3-minute series!
