EXTRA-ORDINARY Life

In November, I was blessed to talk to a beautiful friend I had not talked to for over five years. We had a lot of catching up to do. One of the things she shared with me was her amazing experience after praying the Prayer of Jabez. During our almost 2-hour conversation, the Prayer of Jabez just kept going through my mind. I felt this was not by chance that we talked. I felt it was not by chance the Prayer of Jabez resonated with me.

I felt that “Holy Spirit Tickle” like I needed to pray this over my JOYFull Inspirations Missions and Wellness business. So, I started praying the Prayer if Jabez daily over my fundraising business in November 2016.

“Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request.

I was brought to tears yesterday when a wonderful, beautiful person came up to me and randomly handed me cash and said “Put this toward your next fundraiser…” You see, this random act of kindness was so much more than a donation. This was an answer to a prayer I have had in my heart. As I hugged her and thanked her, I cried harder. Her donation made me cry because at that moment the answer to my question that I had been praying about was clear as day! God is so amazing!!! I had not even publicly mentioned that I was doing another fundraiser but I had one silently and prayerfully on my heart. I was not sure about some things or what direction, if any, I was going to go. But this precious woman stepped out in faith when she handed me that money and it changed my life in that brief moment. Wow! I am still blown away!

I thought having our big family WAS my offering, but when I said “Yes” to God for the mission he put on my heart in June 2016 ( My Transformed Life-Part 1  and My Transformed Life-Part 2)  EXTRAORDINARY things started happening!  I have to start a journal so I can remember these amazing moments. I want to remember that even when things get rough and life is hard, God is faithful. In the valleys and on top of mountains, I will forever praise HIM.
